We are pleased to announce the itinerary launch for 2016! Here are some highlights;

  • Once again we urge you to come with an appetite! In the verdant north of Italy there is an abundance of fresh produce and wine on offer and we have a firm focus on bringing the tradition of taste to the table. Local osteria championing the region’s gastronomic delights are hand picked by Bon Nardella, our tour host. Try the game, fish, risotto, traditional sauces and broths. The wines from Verona’s Soave, Bardolino and Valpolicella will be wonderfully matched. Espresso? Yes.

  • There is a way to hold the chisel. Luthier, Benedict Stewart returns as our Guitar Building Instructor along with Mark Russell who will be available to provide additional hands-on help throughout the entire guitar building progress.

  • We can expect exceptional entertainment! More details will emerge as the opportunities unfold.

  • Consider also a self-guided side trip to Cremona to the Guitar Village at the 2016 Cremona Musica 30 September – 2 October An annual event that boasts a truly international program with impressive VIP list. This year, see John Monteleone who is considered the modern Stradivarius of the guitar.

PRE EVENT APERITIVO

The Italian pre-dinner tradition of a drink to ‘open’ the palate is a must in the north of Italy where it is most popular. In the same way, participants have the opportunity to share food and drink, socialise in a relaxed and informal setting and meet and discuss the upcoming tour with our tour host,
Bon Nardella.

Guitar Building Instructor, Benedict Stewart may also be on hand to give you an insight into the style of guitar build as he demonstrates the installation of a rosette.
